HEALTHCARE CASE

Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital Wi-Fi Project

A securely segmented, hospital-wide and continuously scalable healthcare network for multiple buildings, different departments and a large fleet of devices.

Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital network project

Project Background

A hospital network carries clinical services, imaging transfers, administrative work, visitor access and many types of devices at the same time. ZONNET took part in the hospital campus Wi-Fi build, starting from the site environment and existing systems to map out network segmentation, coverage and future expansion needs.

Secure Segmentation and Access

The design set network boundaries by usage — clinical services, offices, devices and visitors — so that each user and terminal connects only to the services it needs, while leaving room to integrate logging, permissions and security appliances.

Campus Coverage and Mobile Use

Through site surveys and high-density area planning, the project addressed connectivity across wards, treatment areas, corridors and public spaces, supporting clinical staff and mobile devices throughout the hospital.

Compatibility and Continuous Expansion

Healthcare environments often need to retain legacy equipment and multi-vendor systems. ZONNET used phased integration to reduce switchover impact, reserving room for future IoT devices, ward systems and other digital applications.
